The grand Marabout further stated that the dilemma that happened in the tiny West African nation in 1981 by famous Gambian rebel will never be repeated again in the country.
“I guaranteed that the violence that happens here in the past will never be repeated anymore. I know that very well because the charity and prayers that are needed to safeguard our motherland from all forms of violence had already been made to make sure that peace and stability prevail in the country,” he told journalists recently at his home.
He added: “I know the purpose of saying that the peace and stability will continue in this great nation for ever. In fact no need for the country to have military to secure our territory because peace will remain here forever.”

It can be recalled that Kukoi Samba Sanyang, former Gambian rebel attacked the government of the country’s first president [Sir Dawda Jawara] since shortly after independent which resulted in the death of many people.
Therefore, for Mr. Jabbi, argument and contradict conversations may happen in the country but would not result in violence that brings bloodshed as that of 1981 will never takes place in the country anymore.
He noted that The Gambians Marabouts have prayed to God for the peace and stability of the country to persist and they will continue to pray for the nation so that peace will maintain on the land forever.
“Prayers are very significant in any given nation because the country’s sustainability depends on prayers of its pious Marabouts that is why I said the peace of the country will last forever.”
He gives reference that the former president was empowered through prayers and he was also ousted peacefully by prayers.
