Ministry of Interior has said that steps have been taken to ascertain the cause of the death of Louis Gomez, the former deputy director general of defunct National Intelligence Agency (NIA) in accordance with the requirement of the law.
In a press release singed by Assan Tangara, permanent secretary, ministry of interior said the Gambia government wishes to inform the general public that one of the accused persons standing trial in the ongoing NIA case Mr. Louis Gomez, has died at the Edward Francis Small Teaching Hospital in Banjul on 11th October, 2018.
