A lifeless body of a 2- year-old minor was found in bush in Sanyang village Kombo South District in West Coast Region, Police Public Relations Officer has confirmed.
According to the parents of Louise Sylva, the decease, went missing since 24th of October 2018 at Faala a neighbouring small community around Sanyang village, and the death has been buried by the police
In an exclusive interview, ASP Lamin Njie said the police are currently conducting their investigations about the tragedy death of the minor.
Peter Sylva, father of the decease, said: “I was at work when he suddenly received a call that my child has gone missing since in the morning and, could not be trace.”
For him, he wants proper investigation into the death of his son, as he warned parents and to government to be careful, saying that there may be criminality involve in the missing of the children.
He said: “What I wanted to assure you that as parents of the deceased we are going to work tightly with the police investigation team for any possible circumstance that might lead to his unrevealing disappearance and sudden demise.”
David Gomez, Alkalo, expressed in grieved of the demise describing it as a great lose to the community.
He said: “As the village Alkalo, we are not going to relent on our own way of investigating the unfortunate situation leading to the demise of the young boy. Take this from me no such a miserable incident will ever happen in this community and we will make sure that we stick to the bottom of the investigation God willing.”
