Muhamadou M5 Jallow, public relation officer for the opposition Gambia Democratic Congress (GDC) party has expressed sense of leadership for party.
“We are 100% confident that GDC will lead the country because we had manifested to the Gambians that we have the country’s interest. GDC came into being as a result of addressing the basic necessitate of the Gambia’s populace,” he told The Voice inclusive interview.
He added: “This has gone beyond ordinary wards because the party has provided materials and other relevant issues for almost every district in the country. We have provided water born pipe for Kabakel village, Kafuta and Babylon among other communities’ people requested us for help during meeting.
He said GDC has contributed more to national development saying GDC has build markets, give humanitarian aid to flood and fire victims.
According to him, GDC has put mechanism in place to address anything that may affect GDC from wining the next presidential election, adding this time around GDC will not allow individuals to deprive Gambians on what they want to manifest.
He said: “I’m sure; we will get the mantle of leadership because Gambians are ready to empower GDC because they are now aware that GDC is doing the best to serve their interest. On other hand they have seen what the coalition government is now presenting for them.”
He assured that whenever, GDC handle the ring of power it will bring development to the doorstep of the public saying the citizenry’s expectation on GDC will be met as they have goals and visions that would guide them [GDC] to develop the country to need of the populace.
