Farafenni General Hospital holds performance review

The Farafenni General Hospital has held Performance Review statistic report with stakeholders and partners and certificates were awarded to outstanding staff, Farafenni.

It aimed to ensure that the facility sustain the gain registered in strengthen health care service delivery and the hospital benefitted a tune of D100, 000 from Farafenni Marathon Association

Ismaila Njie, a board chairman of Farafenni General Hospital called on government to provide more incentive for nurses and doctors to enhance motivation.

Wandifa Samateh, the Chief Executive Officer of the hospital said: “health facility is one of the most crucial sectors for greater investment.”

Commenting on challenges, he expressed concerned on retaining doctors, bio medical supplies, drug and medical supplies, human resources and the need of improving delivery room to meet standard.

He commended Kairaba Pharmacy for supporting them with D2000

Alagie Saine, director of Human Resource under Ministry of Health and Social Welfare hailed the giant step taken by the management in improving lives of patients registered at facility level.

Yusupha Jammeh chairman of Farafenni Marathon Association noted that the donation of D100, 000 by the association is part of annual plan of activities.

He disclosed that the association is committed to community and educational development.

Kairaba pharmacy donated cash to the hospital management to improve health care service delivery.
