The Gambia is expected to host the 6th Edition of Miss West Africa International on 4th January, 2019 at Kairaba Beach Hotel.
The beauty pageant will attracts 18 West African countries host by Biddy’s Promotion aims to build the link between West Africa and to promote beauty as a business.
To be held under the theme: “Irregualr Migration” the event is trying to engage young people talks about the dangers of illegal migration. The winner will receive an award of USD1, 500 and a sea view plot of land worth USD 5000
Ida Bidwell Mansary, chief executive officer Biddy’s Promotion explained that the international contestants will arrive in Gambia on 27-28 December, 2018.
“From there we will start the activities, we are trying to showcase beauty and promote tourism sector, this is the biggest ever we are hosting since 2007, so we are looking forward have a successful event,” she assured.
