The Sukuta Youth and Sports Committee (SYSA) knockout group stage will take place on Saturday February 2, 2019 Dembadu Mini Stadium Sukuta with Manchester and Monaco fighting to reach the final.
The two teams have a good record in defending and attacking, but Saturday game will decide who progress.
Basainey Cham, President of SYSA said: “The final will be keenly contested between the two great teams who have shown high level of maturity and professionalism in the competition”
Cherno B. Cham, SYSA secretary general said it will be interesting, adding that “Manchester is preparing to clinch the knockout title to end their trophy drought while Monaco on the other, is preparing to add their name to the list of champions.”
Bakary Ceesay, Public Relation Officer of SYSA explained that: “We are taking a new approach in developing football in Sukuta by scouting and recruiting young talents in the game.
He added that despite the challenges the new committee was able to make it by organizing successful tournaments namely, Knock Out and League Cup
He called on the public to grace the final by coming out to supports young talents in football within the community.
He commended the executive committee, teams and all the stakeholders who have contributed to the success of the tournaments which has finally comes to an end now.
