The stage is set for a classic semifinal matches as the 2018/2019 FAR limited sponsored National beach volleyball championship reaches the last four organized under the auspices of Gambia Volleyball Federation.
Interior team A&B, GAF and Gamtel/Gamcel women’s team will cross path at the cracking semifinal showdown on Saturday whiles Gamtel/Gamcel, GAF, Brikama and Olympafrica will battle in the men’s last four on Sunday at Pocoloco beach.
In the women’s game, Interior A pairing of old-timer Fatoumatta Ceesay and Mariama Ginadou will face team B of Tutti Bojang and Tida Sanneh, whiles in the other semifinal GAF pairing of veteran Abie Kujabie and Nyima Demba will entertain Gamtel/Gamcel’s Anna Marie Bojang and Bintou Jabbie.
In the men’s showoff poster boys’ Olympafrica’s Alpha Ceesay and Laity Nyabally will face baptism of fire against the Gamtel/Gamcel’s Veterans of Amadou Jarju and Malick Jammeh.
Another men cracking tie that will complete the semifinals on Sunday will see Brikama’s pairs of Mario Dampha and Ebrima Bah faces off old hands in Alieu Barry and Ebrima Jatta.
The 2018/2019 National Beach Volleyball championship is funded by FAR limited Gambia.
