Masta Lion Charity Foundation Refurbish Brikama FMB Radio

Masta Lion Promotion Charity Foundation has refurbished Brikama Community Radio station (FMB) and donated studio items worth D1, 15000, and the donated item includes; Mixer, two voice recorders, three mic and filter and four earphones.
Muhammed Lamin Touray, chief executive officer (CEO) emphasized the need to improve the standard of the Brikama Community Radio, noting that it was part of his plans because during his holiday in Gambia he conducted radio talk show in many radio stations.
Touray was made the remarks at the handing over ceremony refurbishment project undertaking by his organization at Brikama Community Radio, at Brikama in West Coast Region on Sunday February 10, 2019
According to him, during the toured when he visited Brikama FMB radio he was disappointed with the condition of the station and he decided to support.
Touray also said he and his team will support Brikama Community Radio to a modern standard and the transmission of station will also be extended outside the Gambia.
He calls on Citizens of Brikama both home and abroad to support the Brikama community Radio for the best interest of the community, noting that with unity and Brikama citizen in Diaspora can build Television Station.
Alieu K. Darboe, Councillor of Kembujeh Ward and member of the foundation noted that the equipment donated to FMB add value to the standard of the Radio, because this are the materials radio needs to produce a equality programs for the best interest of the community.
He said that this is not the first time Masta Lion Charity Foundation is donating to the community of Brikama, recalling that during the Ramadan the foundation distribute sugar to the different community in Brikama and FMB radio Staff also benefited from that.
Jammeh KK Bojang, Chief of the Kombo Central commended foundation saying that it support doesn’t stop at the Brikama community radio it is also extended to education, health and youth development.
He urged the FMB staff to good use of the equipment that has being provided as radio serve as the mouth piece of the community.
