AfriCare Group Stages Mbapat Wrestling Second Edition

The management of AfriCare Group Limited has expressed their readiness for presenting their second edition of Mbapat Wrestling competition scheduled for 18th and 19th February, 2019.

The annual Mbapat Wrestling competition is an open platform that helps promoters to select new talents, bring youths together to discover their talents and as well helps to create career, jobs and businesses for youths.

Marie Sock, CEO/President-AfriCare Group Limited gave an in-depth background of the competition as regarding to arts and entertainment. She classified arts and entertainment a big sector divided into different categories and Mbapat wrestling is one of the categories under arts and culture.

She said her institution is not just promoting wrestling match alone but also creating a complete different platform for the youth to perform and discover their hidden talents. Making reference to past edition of Mbapat wrestling competition, she said through it some wrestlers were discovered and already signed contracts with different promoters. She went further that, two or more of the winners through the cash prizes they won in previous edition have set up personal businesses which others are benefiting from today.

She noted among other importance of competition to the youth that it keeps the youth busy and free their minds away from idleness because practicing, rehearsals and among other relevant preparation that help to succeed in any competition.

The two days wrestling match taking place at Serekunda East Stadium is divided into three categories – Heavyweight, Middle Weight and Lightweight and first three winners in each category will go home with cash prizes, different how accessories and livestock.

Ms Sock the only female promoting Mbapat wrestling in the country thanks all partners of AfriCare Group Limited for their supports while she encouraged youths to participate in the competition and benefit from the event like previous participants.
