Tha Freedom Concert was a FREE concert in honors of the celebration of Gambia’s independence and it was huge success on 17 February, 2019 at Westfield.

The concert  featured   Gambia’s finest musicians onstage with  live band and play back by  T-Smallz, Royal Messenjah,  Jizzle,  Cihu Yaffa, YDee,  Gorr Gorr Lu,  Poetic X,  Humanity Starz , Attack , Myk Jayda , Bright Starz , Joluv Arts , Kaadu G,  ENC,  Sophia ,  Hussain & Chanta , Silky Criss , Slam G, Money D Prince  and Host by Danny Constant

Ronald Senghore, coordinator of Tha Freedom Concert said that: “All we wanted to do was celebrate Independence Day – no hidden agenda to gain cheap popularity. We had to do this for us, as a country, as one people”

He noted that: “We want to say thanks be to God for a successful free concert. We were all so anxious to see the turnout and we are proud to be able to inform you that thanks to your support, Tha Freedom Concert was a success! Thanks to the contribution of everyone from the artistes down to the person who just liked the page on Facebook”

He added that big thanks go to their sponsors for all the support rendered. All those involved worked incredibly hard over the last few weeks during the lengthy preparations and incessant rehearsals of artistes who were striving to give their fans a free concert to celebrate Gambia at 54.

We thank Gambia for showing love. We hope you know that our day was more special because you were there with us to celebrate Gambia @54 amulen morom. To The Gambia ever true!
