Cabdi Jaamac, based in the United Kingdom travelled to the Gambia to meet a little girl he sponsors at Carter Nursery School Tallinding Bantaba on Monday March 25, 2019.
He visited the Gambia in 2016, and was approached by the school management concerning Sajor Malang sponsorship and he agreed to sponsor her, but unfortunate he could not see the child despite approving to sponsor.
Jaamac also revealed that the reason for not meeting little Sajor at time was because of the political impasse in 2016 especially when ex-president Yahya Jammeh refused to leave office, adding that after this visit he will be coming regularly to see his little girl.
On March 25, he visited Sajor Malang in the school and he was received by the school headmaster Salifu Touray, class teacher and classmates. Touray, highlight some challenges faced by Sajor in the areas of needs and supports for her education.
Jaamac also assured to continue supporting little Sajor Malang and promised to visit her regularly. He donated chocolates from all the way in UK to little Sajor and also to her whole class and some cash which was received by Mr. Touray on behalf of Sajar parents.
He also commended Ann Lovell for her contribution to support Sajor.
