Eight teachers from Netherlands recently concluded a week-long educational visit at Manduar Nursery School in region two of Brikama South, West Coast Region.
The Netherlands teachers Gambia counterpart, Dominic Mendy, said during teachers week-long stayed at the School the Dutch introduced new teaching methods to the students.
Mendy assured his Dutch friends that the teachers and the students will put the new teaching methods they were taught in good use, noting that the visit came at a right time for them and the country’s future leaders.
Eddy Potters the head of the delegation commended Manduar Nursery School administration and the community for their warmed welcomed to them, adding that they were in the country to improve the lives of the future of Gambian leaders.
He stressed the importance of their visit to the country and Manduar Nursery School in particular, noting that their one week stayed in the country was educative.
As part of their visit to Mandaur Nursery School, the Dutch teachers also presented educational items to both Nursery School and sets of football jerseys to Manduar Football Female team courtesy from VV-GDC football team in Netherlands.
