Yankuba Manneh, Secretary General University of The Gambia Students Union has in strong words said that there is no plan demonstration organizes by the student, revealing that today Thursday there will be meeting between the students and administration.
“As far as we know we are not aware of any plan demonstration or protest, there is no institution without a challenge and UTG cannot be an exception, so tomorrow we are meeting the administration. We have read the information circulation but not from us there is no plan demonstration as the student union is concern,” he said.
He confirmed that management has rented classrooms at GTHI, GTMI to meet the demands of students at the Kanifing campus
Source also confirmed management has finalized arrangements with Gambia College for use of extra classroom facilities. The two institutions have synchronized their time table schedules.
