Couple Donates Learning Materials to Alhagi Saibo Islamic School

Leon and Lenny, a couple, from Netherland recently donated furniture’s and learning material to Alhagi Saibo Islamic School in Ebo Town recently.

The donated items include furniture’s, books and pencils meant to contribute to the advancement of education sector in the Gambia.

Lenny, explained that they visited the school February 2019 and during their visit, they found some of the kid sitting on the floor.

According to her, when she first saw the children sitting on the floor in the classroom she felt bad so they promised their friend Yusupha Jobarteh who took them to the school that when they go back to Holland they will find  support for the school.

“Upon our arrival in Holland we went to search of furniture and they finally meet with a school that was about to change their furniture so they appeal to administration  of the school  and they  were able to secure the second hand materials from the school those are the ones they brings in Gambia,” she noted.

She further stated that they were able to ship these material from Holland to the Gambia with the support of the following friends Spie, Top Medical, Marc Bouchez VOGOG Exploitatie Frissen  and others .

She urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the materials to the school and promise that they will continue to support the school.

Mr Musa Jobarteh, the head teacher of the school promises the donors that the materials will be put into good used and commended all those who contribute to help Lean and Lenny Frissen to deliver the material to the school.
