Ahmadiyaa Muslim Jama’at The Gambia and Humanity First International has donated D50. 000 to Brusubi Maternal New Born Child Health Clinic for the completion of the clinic on Wednesday at Brusubi Phase one.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Amir Baba F. Trawally, Amir of Ahmadiyaa Muslim Jama’at The Gambia explained that few months ago they visited the Brusubi Maternal New Born Child Health Clinic and realized that they need help to complete the structure.
“Brusubi Development Society appeal to the Jama’at for help it has taken some time we could not response, but today we are here to give out our contribution toward the completion of the clinic, Ahmadiyaa Muslim Jama’at The Gambia has donated D25,000 and Humanity First International donate D25,000,” he said.
He noted that whatever assistance they are given is a right not a privilege. According to him, Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) advised mankind to be always benevolence to humanity so that they can have a just society.
Ensa Manneh, Imam of Brusubi Phase one commended Ahmadiyaa Muslim Jama’at The Gambia for their stand towards the advancement of humanity.
He urged Gambians to emulate the Jama’at in the areas of education, health and religion.
Dawda Joof, secretary general Brusubi Development Society said the maternal clinic if completed will ease the burden of going to Brufut, Sukuta and Bijilo for deliveries. He commended the Jama’at for their timely intervention toward the community.
