President Barrow Says ‘He is not a Fools’

President Adama Barrow has stressed that he is not a fool and those that taking him to be one, he will prove them wrong in 2021 by winning a landslide victory.

“I have heard many people say that the President doesn’t speak, he doesn’t act or make decisions but they will be surprise in 2021,” he said at a meeting held at Mamut Fana Village in the Central River Region (CRR).

He added: “When we took over the government they thought because I had no clue about governance they   rushed  and take advantage but it wasn’t easy for them as I stood firm on matters of my government”, President Barrow explained to the people of Mamud Fana in Niamina CRR.

According to him, some of those people even wanted him to ignore the constitution for their interest but he disagreed, noting that he reminded them of the sacrifices to end tyranny and dictatorship and the need to consolidate the gains.

Hon Amat Bah, Minister of Tourism and Culture commended God for choosing the right man to lead the Gambia in these trying times.

“We have been trying to be President for many years but never succeed. God never makes mistakes, he choose a man who is related to all tribes to lead the Gambia because he knew if one tribe is to be in power then that would be disaster for a country as small as the Gambia”, the Leader of the National Reconciliation Party (NRP) disclosed.

He added: “If I had been chosen to lead this country by now there would have been a lot of killings in this country. The former Government killed a lot of Gambians, some of them I share the same tribe with, so if I were to be President in this time, the people I share the same tribe with will want to take advantage of the status quo to wreak havoc on to the others,” Hon Amat Bah stated.

The Tourism Minister, warns against tribalism, noting that tribalism has no place this country, adding that no tribe can win elections by themselves without the support of others in the Gambia “that’s why God choses Adama Barrow from the lot to lead this nation’.
