The Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission (TRRC) head of Research and Investigations Unit resigned and his resignation personal and professional reasons will be effective on the 15th December.
My resignation from the TRRC will be effective on the 15th of this month. Please note that I am resigning for personal and professional reasons. I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with a wonderful team at the Research and Investigations Unit and I am thankful to my supervisors Dr Baba Jallow and his deputy, Musu Bakoto Sawo, Barrow said on his facebook page Monday.
He added: “I am also grateful to the entire TRRC staff for their support and guidance. Importantly, I am humbled and grateful to the Victims and witnesses who trusted us enough to share their stories with the team.
I will continue to support the work of the TRRC and the Victims in any way that I can. I thank you all for your well-wishes and prayers.”
