Gambia for Five vows to Hold Solidarity March from Sting corner to Denton Bridge

Gambia for five years says it will hold a pro-government solidarity march from sting corner to Denton bridge on Sunday, promising to double the number of people [produced by operation three years jotna last month demonstration.

The pro-government group said during a news conference on Wednesday that their solidarity march is aimed to defending the constitution which gives presidents of the country to rule for five years.

Last month, a pressure group-operation three years jotna took to the street to demand President Adama Barrow to step down in power.

The group’s secretary general, Ebrima Soriba said: “:it is going to be a peaceful procession from sting corner to Denton Bridge to show solidarity to the Gambian constitution sanctioned for five years presidential term which empowered any president for a term of five years.”

He said is group wouldn’t sit to allow any group ruined the work archived as he said the country witnessed changes.

“We have heard for the president that he is going to serve for five years during an interview on TV, noting that if they are to make comparison, if the Gambian people that matter then the president have the right to fulfill the fundamental wishes of the majority of the Gambian people which is to serve for five years term,” he said.

He said that the Gambia for five years and peace building are only are only permitted to the cost of maintain peace and stability that has remain our only natural resource for the pass years.

Therefore, there is zero tolerance for violence in this country not in the name of coalition agreement which cannot possible supersedes the constitution of the Gambia,” he said.

International organizations are all in support of the five years as it is constitutional adding that they cannot compare legality to morality, he said.

He stressed that any attempt by 3years Jotna to get to the street as promise to them it will be consider as a complete, adding that: “we are going to come out with peaceful fashion in their Gambia for five years T-shirt without any sign of political symbols”, he alluded.
