Outspoken politician Omar A Jallow has frowned at APRC that they should be embarrassed of themselves for demanding the return of ex-president Jammeh.
Thousands of pro Yahya Jammeh supporters this month took to the streets to seek his comeback.
And on Saturday thousands of Gambians mainly victims of Jammeh also staged a march pass to seek Jammeh to justice.
Mr Jammeh who ruled The Gambia for 22 years now lives in exile in Equatorial Guinea since losing the 2016 presidential election. His regime has been accused of gross human rights crimes like killings, torture and rape.
Some damming revelations have so far emerged from a probe looking into the alleged human rights crimes occurred during his 22-year rule.
However, Mr Jammeh is yet to answer to the alleged human rights crimes him and his regime is accused of.
OJ who spoke to journalists on the march to justice said: “after all the treacherous and violations of human rights and people’s rights that had happened here in 22 years of Jammeh’s regime, all those Gambian sons, daughters who were killed, tortured, raped still the APRC wants Yaya Jammeh to come back here in honour.”
The former minister of agriculture added: “and they are praising him for all those treble crimes he had committed. I think, what the APRC should have done is to show remorse. To beg for forgiveness and to accept their faults.”
