At least two people have died in separate motor accidents in Tujereng on Friday.
The first accident involved Abdou Suwareh, bread supplier who was on Friday hit by a driver van driver. The van driver is currently holds in custody after taking the decease to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Dawda Bah told The Voice that “the man is a family man who was on his daily bread supply transaction before he was hit by the van around Tujereng Social Security vicinity. He was quickly rushed to Kanifing General Hospital but later confirmed dead.”
Meanwhile, the second accident involved a young school girl, Ramatoulie Jallow. She was hit by a truck wheel that loosens from the moving truck.
The eyewitness, Dawda Bah who present at the scene with shock said “She was a student and she was going to school and then a loosen wheel from the moving truck met her where she was standing and hit her.”
According to him, she was rushed to a nearby Batakunku Health Centre but those people couldn’t help and she was referred to Tujereng Health Centre where she died.
