Gambia Action Party (GAP) has urged the government of The Gambia suspend all flights from the affected countries with immediate and strengthen the surveillance on the borders.
Making it position on the global pandemic COVID 19, expressed solidarity with Gambia victim families as well as other victims around the world on the trauma and damage it cause to their love once.
GAP also called on government to shut down all form of tourism and all the public institutions must be issue with permission for isolation to protect people from being infected with this deadly disease.
GPA calls on all political parties and especially party leaders to put differences to fight a common enemy – Coronavirus, while GPA expressed willingness to work with the government and other stakeholders to intensify the sensitization on the preventive mechanisms of COVID-19
GAP also stated that the efforts of the ministry of Health is fully recognised by the party in the bid to ensure Gambia remain a healthy nation.
