Some bars and restaurants around Westfield are still operating their business despite government ban on bars and restaurants to remain close for 21-days. The ban also demands conferences, hotels, restaurants, bars and local markets to close.
Last Tuesday, President Barrow banned public gatherings and closed schools and Universities for three weeks after the country registered first case of the coronavirus pandemic.
However, a number of waiters from some of this restaurants and bars told The Voice that: “We feel unsafe and very worry, and even our parents are worried about us coming to work after the president suspended all public gathering.”
The coronavirus case in the country makes many people feel at a higher risk after hearing the incident of the 70 years old man from Bangladeshi.”
“We still wonder why many business owners have not close their Bars and Restaurants and we have no idea the customers we are dealing with,” a waiter said.
