GDF Donates 600 bags of rice in WCR

Ginkon Development Foundation has donated 600 bags of rice to some communities within West Coast Region.

Speaking during the presentation, Yusupha Jammeh Public Relation Officer of the Foundation said the foundation has contributed a lot in the country since its inception.

He noted that this latest donation of 600 bags of rice is meant to help ease access to feeding in the communities and fight the pandemic as State of public health Emergency continues.

“Our stand is to help the people of the country by giving them food items, this is not the first time for us to make such donation in the country, we have been doing this for quite a long time now,” he said.

He said the president can’t do all alone which is one of the reasons their foundation intervened to help and compliment the government’s efforts.

Lamin Konateh, Program Officer Ginkon Development Foundation, said Ginkon Development Foundation was established to render services to the country “We have been doing this and we will continue to do it in the country,,” he assured them.

He used the opportunity to outline some of their past and future activities which include provision of boreholes to different communities within the length and breadth of the country.

Sainey Manneh, Chairman of Ginkon Foundation alluded to other speakers comment. He said their coming together to contribute the little things they have can help in developing the country.

Alhagie Momodou Bojang, General Manager of Ginko said: “whatever they are doing is not for the sake of politics but they are doing it to help people most especially the needy ones.
