Basirou Gassama, former supporter of APRC has rubbished Landing Badjie’s action against Ensa Faal and his team during his visit to his compound to donate Covid-19 food aid to him and his family in Kombo Lamin village.
During the process, Landing Badjie member of APRC party chased away Ensa Faal – TRRC lead counsel and his team with cutlass from his home as protest of not interested in his donation or gesture.
Basirou Gassama who visited office of The Voice in an interview said: “If Landing Badjie is angry at Essa Faal’s prosecution [questioning] at the TRRC, he should be angry at the people testifying before the TRRC, but not at Essa Faal.”
According to him, allegations Badjie made against Faal was a cover-up such remarks should not have come from him.
He said Badjie could have accepted the gift and give it to some people if he doesn’t want or better still tell him Ensa Faal amicably.
“We are aware of yesterday and today we have seen the different and if people are not aware of what had happened, how can we able to forgive one and another?” he said.
Mr Gassama however commended Essa Faal and TRRC for the good job they are rendering to the country and his steadfastness in giving back to the communities amid the covid-19 crisis.
