The National Assembly has announced it will start its second ordinary session on Monday.
The Office of the Clerk of the National Assembly wishes to inform the general public that the Second Ordinary Session of the National Assembly in the 2020 Legislative Year shall be convened for the period Monday 15th June to Thursday 16th July, 2020,” the office of the clerk said in a statement.
“During this period, Honourable Members will consider Government and other National Assembly businesses such as Questions to Hon. Ministers for Oral Answer, reports of various Committees, Motions and Bills,” the statement said.
The daily sitting commences at 10:00am prompt. All those who wish to attend the daily sittings are requested to strictly observe the COVID19 guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health.
However, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, admittance to the Chambers (sittings) are restricted and the proceedings will be broadcasted live, the statement added.
