Multiple award-winning Gambian afro-pop sensation, Jizzle, has newly released his new single “Work & Pray” in a audio and video available in all digital platforms.
Produced by Shyboy, “Work & Pray” is an upbeat motivational afro-pop cut which follows well-received “Scorpion” EP. The complementary feel-good visuals were directed by Gando of Iris Studios.
The video begins with Jerreh Jallow working up to a motor bike as he urges for the need for work and prayer using his meteoric rise from the doldrums to the top as a shining example.
Jizzle is undoubtedly Gambian music’s man of the moment, cementing his status after walking out of the prestigious Whasahalat Music Awards with 5 awards, the most wins of the night.
Sometime last month Jizzle hinted the impending release of a collaboration with leader of the Ghanaian new school scene Kwesi Arthur, and this announcement left music fans across The Gambia and Ghana in hysteria. Hopefully that collaborative joint will soon drop.
