Police have said twelve people will be charged under the health emergency power regulations after they were arrested for staging a musical show Tuesday night at Tawto in the West Coast Region.
Police said: “The Police Anti-Crime Unit patrol team during their night patrol arrested 12 people at Tawto in West Coast Region for staging a musical show last night. Among the arrested individuals are the organisers of the program and the DJs.”
“They are all going to be charged and put before the court under the health emergency power regulations. The public, especially event organizers, are strictly advised to adhere to regulations,” police added.
