Widow Begs for Support to rescue her living condition

Mariama Mandoza, a widow residing in Abusey, Tabakoto has begged for support from everyone to help her out of her present living condition especially in this rainy season.

The widow, Madam Mariama Mandoza, whose living condition can best be described as deteriorate situation in this rainy season as her house is in a bad condition for someone to live is a mother of two children.

Speaking to this reporter on a visit to her to know how she manage with her two children the dilapidated house when it rains, she explained that when it is raining they always gather buckets and position them in different places in the house “though that doesn’t stop flood from entering the house.”

Her situation become worsen saying “My husband passed away five years back and since then, I have been taking care of the family to my optimum best by making sure that my children and I live in a better condition.  But things are very challenging for me,” she sob.

To make ends meet she took up laundering work, which is not enough. “Laundering is my only source of income and that’s what I depend on to feed family and pay my children’s school fees. But sometimes it takes me for a period of one or two weeks before having a customer which is an additional issue to my responsibility that make living hard for me and my children.”

Madam Mariama Mandoza once a Christian but later converted to Islam is also a diabetes patient that badly needs help for her health condition. She has been left on her own since she converted to Islam and “this also made it more difficult for me as I cannot manage my health condition, with the family and children simply because of my inadequate low earning from the laundry,” she added.

She however appealed to everyone that can give out support to take care of her health and the two children for the sake of Allah.
