Alpha Robinson, former Managing Director of the National Utilities company NAWEC has rejected his deployment to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs following his removal as MD and replacement by Nani Juwara.
In a letter addressed to the PMO Permanent Secretary and dated 10th August in which Mr Robinson advanced reasons why he could not take up this appointment, among others that his professional expertise and experience will not be best utilised at the Foreign Affairs Ministry. He is a seasoned engineer whose expertise is best utilised elsewhere, but not the foreign service.
