“We have sent an official letter to the office of the Minister since 20th July, and had several Conversations with him still nothing has been done. His Manager, Ansuma Ceesay, told us that they will send an official letter to the Gambian Counselor in Germany so far no information receives from them over the incidence,” she added.

She accused the Ministry of negligence saying it is the duty of the Ministry to take care of the rights of Gambians living abroad.

the information they got from his friends in Frankfort was that Sailou was Jailed and later got sick while in prison in which he eventually died and buried without Consulting his family in The Gambia

According to her, “Sailou was the breadwinner of the family and his death makes us devastating that is why we stood up as a family to know the root cause of his death and the reason of his unjust burial.”
