African leaders should really learn from History
The information of a Military takeover in Mali and the resignation of the President, Ibrahima B. Keita, is very unfortunate and disheartening for Africa.
Our African leaders seem never to learn from history and the attempt to perpetuate one in power for life has become quite tempting for many, especially when many others are succeeding in staying in power for long.
As the tension started in Mali, much pressure was put on President Keita by the opposition support by the public through many demonstrations before a junior office of the Army arrested some of his bosses and took over power.
<Those who accomplish great things pay attention to little ones> African proverb.
