Police have broadened stations as they inaugurated two latest police stations in North Bank Region that seeks to strengthen security in the country.
The two stations come as the region faces criminal activities – in one of which a mini-market in Essau was attacked by armed bandits in 2017 leaving the guard seriously injured.
But with the new stations –Madina Serign Mass in Lower Niumi District and Kuntair in Jokadu District will help to dwindle criminal activities – especially stealing.
All projects are community driven initiatives, the police said.
“The beneficiary community members have hailed the developments and expressed gratitude to the Police Management for its drive to make security accessible to all.”
