‘President Barrow Will Win Next Presidential Election’ – Hon Njie

The former nominated Member of Parliament and once a Minister of Communication, Honorable Seedy Njie, now member of National People’s Party has expressed assurance that President Adama Barrow will win the next presidential election in 2021.

He said he’s one hundred percent sure saying “the simple reason is we are working with the Gambian people from their evidence base politics, when Barrow came into power he ensures Gambians are given infrastructure, development, democracy and rule of law.”

In an exclusive interview with The Voice, he said President Adama Barrow has started so many projects and development that he should   complete. In the area of road infrastructure, he said there has been massive development from Banjul to Koina.

“Every Gambian believes that democracy is at work, there is respect for the fundamental principles of human rights, therefore when we are going into 2021 to seek for another mandate for President Adama Barrow,” he added.

He said he can safely say that president Adama Barrow in the come election should see for another mandate to continue and complete the job he started in the country.

Honorable Njie explained that, in the area of energy, there are places who never thought could have electricity, during the last two regimes but in Adama Barrow’s regime places like Kiang is now enjoying electricity and water.

“We are going for 2021 election with full pride, but with that we are to be trusted with the peace and stability of the country, we should be trusted with the country’s force so that we will be able to manage it.as the President is committed to. He has made it known and ensuring that he introduces time limit and also absolute majority in the voting system, so that the majority will be represented,” he said.

He added that they are committed and all Gambians knew that President Barrow is ensuring that election and electoral process are free, fair and transparent for every Gambian to participate.
