As 2020 Gambia Basic Education Certificate Examinations (GABECE) was released to public in October 13, 2020, the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MoBSE) will on Monday announce the release of the 2020 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) Results as well.
According to the Permanent Secretary, Louise Moses Mendy, the said announcement will be held at the Regional Education Directorates (RED) in Kanifing through press briefing at 10am prompt. All media houses are invited to cover the event.
It would be recall that all schools reopened generally on October 28 when
Government of The Gambian in March 2020 directed the closure of all learning institutions in the country after it recorded its first case of Covid-19. The general closured brought all academic activities in the country to a halt.
