Twenty-four Gambians that were quarantined after returned from Mauritania have been discharged after spending 10 days in mandatory quarantine.
Meanwhile 3 people who also tested positive have newly recovered and got discharged from MRC’s ‘Covid Bay’.
“All 24 Gambian returnees who were held in quarantine for 10 days have been discharged after testing negative for COVID-19 for the second time,” the latest Ministry of Health situational report indicated.
“50 new laboratory test results received (6 from MRC and 44 from NPHL). No new case of COVID-19 recorded and no new test returned indeterminant / inconclusive.”
