Brikama Area Council has launched a toll-free hotline (1220) to help effective communication in the region.
The launching of this toll free comes amid of growing nagging and ranting of some of the council officials calling for the resignation of the council chairman resignation for not up to the task region’s top job.
Giving the fact about the toll free, Governor of West Coast Region (WRC), Lamin Sanneh, said: “the purpose of the Toll-Free is to give factual information regarding council and taxpayers within the Brikama Area Council.”
“Also, the revenues should be used in the interest of every taxpayer. Therefore, everyone should use the toll-free number wisely,” he added.
He said the dialogue is a testimony of the BAC commitment to ensure that the interface is not only timely but responsive.
