A mysterious fire has ravaged an entire self-contained building in Kaur Janneh Kunda, consuming nearly all the household valuables and materials including foodstuffs.
Ebrima Alonso Keita, a Youth Leader in Kaur disclosed that the fire occurred on Monday 28th, December, 2020.
He told this medium that the cause of the mysterious fire is not yet certain but it has ravaged every valuable in the house.
According to him, the mysterious fire catches different houses in the self-contained building at different intervals at least eight times on Monday, as household valuables such as flat television screen, beds, cupboards, wardrobes, bed sheets, clothes, cooking utensils, foodstuffs among others were destroyed by the inferno.
“I cannot tell you how this fire started but it occurred at least eight different times in different houses of the self. It has consumed everything in the house from beds, to linens to all sorts of household materials and foodstuffs,” Keita talks of the mysterious fire.
He added: “The entire village is mourning and supporting the victim because they have been going through a lot of stress and pain over the past years. This lady occupying the house has just lost her husband last year coupled with the missing of Jongkunda Daffeh, a renowned journalist in the country.”
Ebrima Alanso Keita, also the Focal Person for Victims Centre called on relevant government agencies, Samaritans, philanthropists and all and sundry to render support to the Daffeh’s Family, revealing that the victims are currently housed by neighbors.
