Rotaract Club donates stationery materials to Fajara Army Barrack’s L.B.S

Fajara Rotaract Club has donated stationery materials including set of boxes, textbooks, exercise books, pencils and other relevant school materials to Fajara Barracks Lower Basic School.

And also, the Rotaract Club presented certificates to military personnel who volunteered to donate blood last year November which was aimed to minimizing the maternal death.

Speaking at the event, Lieutenant colonel Abdoulie Manneh expressed gratitude saying to the donor.  “The club deemed it prudent to contribute their quarter to the school and also to give certificates to the personnel who volunteered and donated blood last year. I am glad to be associated with this historical event that will go a long way to creating opportunities and increase the trust, confidence the general public have in us.”

He said that the donated materials will go a long way in implementing the aims and objective of the Arm Forces which is making education accessible to the community and its surrounding.

“No matter how small their efforts might be, it has been recognized by people and other associations. If the cost of any relationship is higher than the rewards then a rational actor ideal could be considered,” he appreciated.

According to him, they are highly indebted to serve the country as required without any expectation of payment.

Hatab Saidy president of the club said: “the donation is to complement the effort that happened way back last year in November 21 2020 that is the donation of the blood in order to save maternal death”

He said the highest number of blood donated is from barracks which promted the club to come with such a project of donating these school materials and to present certificates to the donors.

Meanwhile, Adelle Sock Vice President and Fatou Bin Jobe Assistant Governor District 901 of the club all sounded the same toward the donation of the materials and the presentation of the certificates to the military personnel.

Rotaract club of Fajara was formed in 1968 and they have conducted several exercises including creating awareness in the society and the nation at large, giving out donations and donation of blood to reduce maternal death.
