Vegvo Technology gives D25,000 to youngster group

Vegvo Technology (VT) a Gambian US-based company has given D25, 000.00 to an inspiring Gambian Inspiring Young Star group, with the aim of supporting youngsters.

The presentation of the financial aid was held at Sen FM, West Field.

The gesture came following the Inspiring Young Star appeal for financial support from the Vegvo Technology to launch a poetry slam project. The youth organization budgeted D50,000 for the project but VT international provided half of the budget.

Presenting the cash on behalf of the national coordinator of Vegvo Technology, Abdoulie Bah, said expressed delight on the intention of the youth saying “This is exactly what we want our African youth to engage. In fact, you are demonstrating good example that other young people should emulate”

He said his company is greatly delighted to provide Inspiring Young Star of The Gambia with the financial support to implement the project.

He described Inspiring Young Star executive as serious and development-oriented youth organization. Adding that neither the manager nor the company would subject the young organization to any form of scrutiny owing to its trust to the organization.

He added that “Vegvo Technologies branch in Gambia is ready to give a full support in various forms and dimensions, and not just about finance. Our goals and priorities are to provide aid for any form of the organization. Even, individuals that is ready to rise and lift the glory of Africa.”

Alagie Ndow, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and founder of Inspiring Young Star expressed gratitude to Vegvo Technology for its remarkable gesture, and assured VT that his organization will utilize the money for the intended purpose.
