The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has launched a digital learning platform dubbed IlearningGAMBIA that seeks to revolutionise, support and enhance speedy recovery for the education from Covid-19 impact as well as serve as a resource centre for teachers and learners.

It followed the ministry’s approximately D35million electronic learning for school going children at a time schools were shut down due to the restriction of Covid-19 aimed at helping to recover lost contact hours.
