Jay O’jay released his second single of 2021 titled “Ndeyi Mbila Mi.” The song is produced by American music producer Qventxn. The beat is a hard hitting beat, with the Tambin (Fulani Flute) adding some melody and giving the beat an African vibe to it. As usual Jay O’jay never disappoints with his deep Wollof bars, rhyme schemes and punchlines.
Jay O’jays Wollof song writing skills are next to none and his flow and cadence so very smooth and soothing, something new and different that we haven’t heard in Gamrap in a while. Safe to say he picked the perfect title to his song because Ndeyi Mbila Mi loosely translates to ‘The best’!
As for what we hope to expect from Gambia’s newest rap sensation, Jay O’jay said “The video drops on Saturday June 12th and it’s real nice.
Y’all look out for it. I’m currently working on some features with some Gambian and international artists. I’m featured on a remix by Melo 525 called “Pareh Ngen” which drops soon. I’m working with a very talented Gambian music producer in Atlanta USA named Muhammed aka Creepa. I’m working with Minka Music in The Gambia & Passa Beatz in Senegal. So expect big songs and big name collaborations coming soon!”
