KS Releases Song

KS has released a new song titled ‘’MY TIME’’ which is a new EP long anticipated by fans and lovers of Gambian music.

The musician’s management and staff said: “GSC Records wishes to notify the general public about the release of a new song by KS. The song titled. The song will be released today, and will be available for purchase on all online stores. This latest recognition solidifies his posterity with artists like Konbomka. He sang other prominent songs such as ‘’VYBE, SWEETEST TABOO, and MY LIFE’’.

Description of the New Song

“My Time” is a new Afroswing single that defines odds and life struggles. It is a song of commendation and gratitude dedicated to every hardworking person residing anywhere in the world.

The song is face-melting guitar rock chopped and sauteed with heart-wrenching ballads, and elegantly garnished with thoughtful lyrics.

Afroswing, also known as Afrobashment, or less commonly Afrobbean or Afro-trap, is a genre of music that developed in the UK during the mid-2010s, derivative of dancehall and afrobeats, with influences from trap, hip hop, R&B, and grime. ssKS is The Gambia’s finest Afroswing singer currently making waves home and abroad.

Sulayman Jobe (born December 31, 1998), better known by his stage name KS, is a renowned Gambian Afro-Swing singjay that blends the beautiful traditional sounds of Senegambia with the rich UK style Afrobeats, Hip Hop, and Dancehall.

KS’s career began in high school when he sang his first song – “KS IS HERE’’, before signing with GSC Records.

He was subsequently signed by Malang Fatty to his label GSC Music, and later secured a distribution deal with the same company. He attended Zenith Preparatory Primary and Upper Basic School, and proceeded to West African International School (WAIS).

His influences range from contemporary singers such as Jon Bellion to fellow sinjays like Kojo Funds, Dappy, and Burna Boy.

“We’re going to do our thing and then walk away, with no regrets”, said KS in an exclusive interview with the press. “It’s been a great ride but now it’s time to pull over and enjoy the view.
