The Kanifing Magistrate Court has granted an accused person facing allegation of assault a bail at a sum of D5,000.00 on Tuesday.
Abdou Secka was charged with assault causing bodily harm contrary to law of the country.
The accused, according to the narration of his offence on 9th May 2021, he hit Saikou John with his hand on his face at Old Jeshwang.
Abdou Secka, before the Kanifing Magistrate Court presided over by Magistrate FB Jallow pleaded not guilty of the offence.
He was therefore granted a bail in the sum of D5000.00 with one Gambian surety who must deposit an affidavit of means to the court.
The case hereby adjourned to 5th July, 2021 for continuation.
