Scores of students of different areas of skills specialization has graduated from the Vicky’s Hairdressing Saloon and Skill Centre after successful completion of their courses as the school held its 11th graduation ceremony at Ebunjan Theatre on Saturday, 3rd July, 2021.
Among area of their skills acquisition included Certificate/Diploma in hairdressing and cosmetology.
Since the centre’s first graduation ceremony 11 years ago, the school has registered tremendous achievements to become first to reckoned with especially among the youth and parents that know and value the importance skills education.
Addressing the gathering, Victoria Goddard Tamba, proprietress of Vicky’s Hairdressing Saloon and Skill Centre congratulated the graduated students.
She dilated on the school Mission which is to improve social status of the youths and also to give students immediate access to further develop their skills to become self-employed, independence and also have access to job and employment.
Ms Goddard-Tamba as gave a comprehensive background of the centre while she encouraged the new graduates to be steadfast in their work and make use of the acquire skills to the fullest.
The guest Speaker of the day, Francis Mansary also congratulate them and said for a nation to to developed there is need for natural and human resources, so “the skill you have today make best use of it,” he advised the graduates.
The guest speaker in clear tone further encouraged them to continue striving for more knowledge as he said to them that the journey is not stop on the graduation but still continue.
“So make good use of your certificate because if you make best use of what you have learned it will bring development not to you alone but to the nation,” he assured.
Among other great speakers at the graduation ceremony included Demba Sallah, Ms Oley Taal another special guest speaker.
