The Project Manager of CSE Construction Company contracted to construct 86km Road of Hakalang Road has expressed optimism that work is going on as plan and assured of delivery of quality works.
Ebrima Sowe was speaking to The Voice at site in Buniadou on Saturday following report on social media that the diversion around the construction of the bridge at Buniadou halted traffic from users. He noted that the recent down poured of rains forced the team to create temporal passage of runoff water, as the main bridge was not ready.
CSE boss Sowe said the bridge will be completed by Tuesday and once it is well cure or dry it will be open for vehicles. However the company boss disclosed that 4km stretch has been prime and the team started laying of basalt, as all necessary equipment have deployed to the site.
As part of meeting the target, the Project Manager of CSE Company said two teams are working hard and it includes one from Buniadu to Albreda and the other one from Bangali via Medina Serigne Mass to Albreda. He disclosed some challenges they are facing which includes felling downs of cashew trees along the highway.
The North Bank Region Governor Lamin Saidykhan was impressed with the level of work and urged people to support the contractor. Governor Saidykhan said the creation of water diversion has help ease transportation of goods and services. He assured of his office commitment to standard work and would continue to monitor the progress.

He said travelling to Upper Nuimi is much easier now compared to the past and call on people to support the development projects, citing the expansion of rural electrification project of which five transformers were installed at Bakindick, Sitanunku, Aljamdu, Nuimi Lamin and Nbanta and very soon some families will start to enjoy electricity for the first time.
