Fatou Jallow, of the APRC defended her party, saying that the government that ruled the country for 22 years give Gambians all they needed, namely University, TV, good roads, electricity and water, women and youth empowerment.
“First, The Gambia was not known, many consider the Zambia for Gambia, but when the AFPRC/APRC came to power the country got recognition and was recognized worldwide. The APRC government builds schools, provided free education up to university level and sends Gambians abroad for studies. We have done for 22 years, and if we come back we will do more,” told a debate moderated by Harona Drammeh.
