A comedian turned politicians has promised that his government if elected into presidency seat will audit government Ministries and institutions twice every month in order to fight corruption and encourage development in the country.

Kitabu Fatty who heads People`s Democratic Party disclosed this when speaking exclusively with The Voice Newspaper over the weekend.

“When we come to power every Minister and Ministry (will have lots to do) load because every two weeks or every month, we will be in your office to see what you are doing. This country needs progress, people of his country shouldn’t be suffering,” he said.

“Politicians should be talking about their agendas they should not be criticizing one another which might bring troubles. Politicians should be telling people what they have for them. The power of the opposition is to reveal the problems citizens are facing,” he added.

He said he is hopeful of wining the December election by 95% and promised to create conducive business environment for Gambians.

He said he has joined politics as a right to move this nation forward saying many major political parties called him to join them but nothing was finalized “some people think we (his party and members) are joking, but we are pushing to get to Statehouse as we are only waiting on December 4 to win the election.”

“Anyone who thinks we are joking just waits for December 4, we did not come in haste but we are here to build this nation in a way Gambians want. We are working to brighten together but not up to alliance with any party as of now,” he said.
