“We have Gambians who are really hardworking, honest, ambitious, patriotic, and experts in their field of works. Basically what we will do is to support those that have the ideas and the wills but lack the technology, capacity and finances. We can assist them by providing assistance with whatever shortfalls they may have,” Manneh said with confidence.

Also said that he will empowers Gambians who have the relevant knowledge and skills as well as experience to start-up businesses, companies, trade but lack the technical and financial support to become millionaires.

Manneh went on to saying his government will empower farmers by providing them with adequate farming implements such as seeds, fertilizers, farming equipment and storage facilities to make better and wealthier farmers.

“The money spends to support them to grow in both scale and size will be paid back to the government over a decade or more. This will be replicated across all sectors of the economy; i.e. farming, fishing, businesses, manufacturing, banking, petroleum, schools, healthcare etc,” he pledged.

According to Manneh, if farmers are given support from the government they can grow businesses by adding value to their produce that will employ hundreds of Gambians and make many people lives well and some millionaires.

“If there is anyone that is a contractor and wants to be involved in road construction and has the knowledge, construction equipment can be provided for such person and make the person to pay back within span of 10-20 years or even more. This is how my government will assist Gambians to become millionaires. My government will invest in these areas to create millionaires within five years and this is not a difficult task if one is willing to do it,” he explained.
