Legal Wrangling Between Minister of Basic Education and Former Principal of Model School Proceeds

 The legal wrangling between the Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, Honorable Claudiana Cole and former Principal of Model School, Isaac Ague at the Brikama High Court presiding over by Justice Achimbogar, Wednesday, 8th December, 2021 continued.

When the case was called, Lawyer Moses Richard Counsel for Basic Education Minister Honorable Claudiana Cole said they are applying to tender additional documents including a payment slip from the Trust Bank Ltd to the defendant list of document in evidence.

However, the first Plaintiff Isaac Ague objected to the plea of the defendant’s Counsel, arguing that both parties were urged not to tender any other document by the former judge presiding over the case.

The second plaintiff also raised an objection that everybody should be given an opportunity, adducing that they the plaintiffs were denied from tendering any additional documents to the court which should be respected.

According to her, former judge to the case Justice Ogar has ruled that no further document should be tender, calling on the presiding judge to overrule the tender of any document from Lawyer Moses Richard.

However, the plaintiffs Isaac Ague and wife are seeking the Brikama High Court to issue an order restraining the defendant Honorable Claudiana A Cole from interfering with his land measuring 100m × 97meters suited at Busumbala village.

Responding on the matters before hand, Justice Achimbogar adduced that he will go over the files to authenticate whether it is a court ruling or not to tender additional documents, noting that the matter will be ruled in the next adjournment date slated for the 2nd February, 2022 at 11:30 am.
